A Cracker of a Comment re “Goodbye Crackernight”

This week the Adam Spencer Breakfast Show – ABC Radio 702 – did a feature on the 25th anniversary of the annual fireworks night, Crackernight, being banned in most states of Australia.  Within an hour of the broadcast I was flooded with comments, calls and emails about it, given that I’ve written a book on the subject.  Having veritably ‘missed it by that much’, I appealed online to friends to contact the ABC, alerting them to the fact and suggesting they contact me.  Evidently the ABC were inundated:  Producer Rory Macdonald phoned me saying so, promising to ‘stay in touch’.  Please see the below comment from the wonderful Jody Luanne-Cavanagh, one of the very many the ABC received – though only a couple were posted online by them.
