“Goodbye, Crackernight” – Cover Finalised, Available September 1st!
Hi, all. The cover for “Goodbye, Crackernight” has now been finalised to include the excellent reviews we’ve received. And, yee-haa, the book will now be available in stores and online from September 1st (exact details will be posted closer to the date).
The official Sydney book-launch will be at the end of September, possibly at the marvellous new Surry Hills Library, just awaiting their confirmation. (I was delighted to discover that Matt Todd, who set up this blog for me as well as providing ongoing tech assistance, is actually one of the team of architects who designed this ultra-modern building. What a small world this is.)
We should also be receiving help from ABC Radio National, as well as the Mosman Daily. And it’s only week one of publicity planning! So watch this space…

The final ‘printer’s proof’ arrived in the mail for my checking before it goes to a full commercial print-run.
I gotta tell ya, it’s a nice feeling. And after the whole process of writing, re-writing, re-writing, re-writing, gaining a leading literary agent, losing a leading literary agent, crying, stopping crying, re-writing, re-writing, gaining a publisher (without a literary agent), editing, re-editing, re-editing, re-editing, cover designing, re-cover designing, re-cover designing, I have to pinch myself.
“Geeeeze… This is my book.”
great news, can’t wait to buy it.
cheers.
Good on you, Steve. Thanks mightily.
